The Cobre Consolidated School District Board of Education is in search of a candidate to fill a vacancy due to the resignation of a Board Member-elect. The person appointed by the Board of Education will serve through January 1 , 2026.
Interested applicants must be:
A registered voter; and
Be 18 years of age; and
Physically reside within the Cobre Consolidated School District.
Interested candidates should submit a letter of interest and a resume to Board of Education recording secretary, Charlene Fletcher at cfletcher@cobreschools.org.
The deadline for submissions is 12:00 p.m. on February 2, 2024. The Board of Education will interview qualified candidates in open session at the special Board meeting on February 6, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. The Board of Education will then discuss and take action in open session at the regular Board meeting on February 12, 2024 at 5:00 p.m.
