COBRE YOUTH WRESTLING Boys and Girls 6 years and up In person signups will be held on October 2, 2025 and October 9th, 2025, from 4:30-6:30 pm at the Cobre High Wrestling room (Building next to HS football field) Early registration $75.00 per wrestler ends October 10th 2025. The Cobre High School Football team is hosting their annual Chile Sale fundraiser at the Patio in Hurley on Sept 6, 7, 13, and 14. Bags will be $40 and can be bought from CHS football coaches or athletes. Pickup is from 8am - 3pm on above dates. See flyer for more details.

🚨 Snell MS Football Schedule Update 🚨 The SMS FB game vs La Plata has a time update: the game will now start at 5:30pm on Sept. 10, an hour later than originally scheduled.

The Snell Middle School Football & Cheer teams will be hosting a Green Chile Cheeseburger Fundraiser on Friday, August 29th at the CHS Cafeteria. $10 for a burger and fries. Deliveries will be available for orders of 5 or more.

Interested in becoming a Young Ambassador?
The Land of Enchantment Young Ambassador Program is seeking powerful youth entering Junior or Senior year in high school for the school year 2025-2026 to support the Governor’s goal of cleaning New Mexico and enhancing the natural beauty of our state. Selected Ambassadors will participate throughout the school year organizing community projects and will work with a group of their peers on a statewide leadership and engagement project. Ambassadors are young people in their community who want to take leadership to educate and empower their community to be litter free.


Selected Ambassadors will receive a $3,000 participation stipend upon completion of the fellowship and projects. They will receive training in project management and community leadership and gain experience in leading projects. Youth will be partnered with a beautification community organization in their area for support and mentorship.


Two youth will be selected from each of the six designated regional areas. The selection committee is looking for young people who: have participated in clubs or events that have provided life skills and teamwork; are interested in growing an expertise in leadership and project management; have a passion for environmental issues; and show an interest in taking a leadership role in enhancing the beauty of New Mexico.


To apply submit a completed application by August 15, 2025.
Ambassadors will be announced in early September 2025.
