Our popcorn fundraiser kicks off today, 9/11 at 5 PM and runs until Monday, 9/15 at 5 PM! Each child received a note with their class code and instructions on how to set up their Pop-Up Store. Let’s get selling and make this fundraiser a huge success! 🎉

Until further notice Summer Lunch in the park will take place at Bayard Elementary School inside the cafeteria, due to the heavy smoke advisories that are in effect. Viola Stone Park, Bayard Park, and Hurley Park will remain closed until further notice.

Please be advised that due to the thick smoke from the forest fire here in Grant County . Lunch in the park on Monday June 16th is canceled. Please keep an eye on the Cobre webpage and facebook for further updates.

The Cobra Consolidated School District is pleased to announce the availability of free summer meals for 2025. Meals will be offered to all children, regardless of income, on a first-come, first-served basis. Adults may purchase a meal (lunch $4) after all children have been served, or they may call the Cobre Student Nutrition Department at 537-4083 prior to meal service, to ensure availability. Update: BES, SMS, CHS, will start at 10:00AM as scheduled. Schools throughout the district do not have internet or phones due the power outage affecting the district office.

This is to inform parents there are many illnesses that have begun to circulate among the students. It has come to our attention that there have been cases of Scarlet Fever circulating throughout the district. Due to Emergency activation and use of Fire hydrants in Hurley. The elementary has lost water pressure and use of the restrooms. We will be dismissing students at 2:15pm today. Busses will be here to pick up students at 2:15
