Both the boys and girls basketball games this weekend, hosted at Cobre High School as a part of the first round of the state tournament, will be GoFan only events. There will be a Mandatory Spring Sports Meeting for all students who plan on participating in Spring Sports at the high school level, along with their parents and coaches, on Monday, February 2, 2026, at 5:00 pm at the Cobre High School Library.
The Cobre High School Baseball team is hosting an Enchilada Plate Fundraiser on Friday, February 13, 2026, in the CHS Cafeteria from 11 AM to 5 PM. Orders of 10 or more have the option to be delivered. Each plate will be $10. See baseball athletes to buy a ticket. Plates can also be ordered on the day of the event.

This morning, our school initiated a Code Blue (medical emergency) in response to a student health situation. Emergency medical personnel (EMTs) were called to campus and responded promptly.
After evaluation, the student was examined and released to their parent/guardian. At this time, there is no ongoing risk to students or staff, and school operations have continued as normal.
We appreciate everyone’s cooperation and calm response as we worked to ensure the student received immediate care. Out of respect for student privacy, we are not able to share additional details.
