🏐 A Champion Walk to kick off the season! 🏐
The halls of Cobre High School were filled with school spirit as we celebrated our Cobre High School Volleyball Team with a Champion Walk!
Led by the Cobre High School Indian Pride Band Drum Line, our volleyball players made their way through the halls while fellow students and staff lined the way to cheer them on and wish them luck this season!

Last season, Cobre Volleyball made history, capturing the 3A State Championship—the first volleyball state championship ever won in Grant County.
Now, a new season brings new challenges—and this team is ready to answer the call.
These girls have already faced adversity, but they haven’t let it define them. They’ve shown resiliency, determination, and heart—continuing to show up, bring the energy, compete, and represent Cobre with pride.
Today’s scrimmage gave them another opportunity to be tested. They faced some great competition, including 5A State Champion Las Cruces High School, and they welcomed the challenge.

A huge shoutout to our coaches, who have stepped up in a big way and poured their time, energy, and leadership into this team. Your commitment matters.

Students in Mrs. Heredia's and Ms. Jimenez's Advisory Classes combined for two weeks to work on a creative project. Students, using no technology to do so, built mystery creatures with their groups using their imagination. They also had to describe the creature in a paragraph and present it to the classes. Here are the first place and second place groups (chosen by upperclassmen).

The shelter in place has been lifted. Students will be dismissed through the Cafeteria to avoid as much rain as possible.

Due to weather delays, dismissal will be postponed. Students will remain safely on campus until the weather clears. We will begin dismissing students as soon as it is safe to do so. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

We are excited to welcome everyone back for the start of the new school year!
Please note that student schedules will be available on Monday morning. To ensure an organized and efficient start to the day, we will be using the following process:
Breakfast: 7:30 a.m. – 8:00 a.m.
8:00 a.m.: All students should report directly to the gymnasium for a brief welcome and opening remarks.
Following the welcome, students will be dismissed by grade level to designated schedule pickup locations.
Within each grade level, schedules will be distributed alphabetically by students' last names. Staff members will be available to direct students to the appropriate area.

Senior Sunrise was just the beginning of an unforgettable year! We created a shared photo album where everyone can upload pictures from Senior Sunrise and every senior event throughout the year.
Scan the QR code and add your favorite photos! Whether it's Senior Sunrise, football games, pep rallies, Homecoming, spirit days, prom, graduation, or just everyday memories with friends-we want them all.
At the end of the year, we'll use these photos to create a Class of 2027 senior recap video that we can all look back on for years to come.
