Class of 2024, your senior banners and graduation pictures are ready for pick up in the Cobre HS office!
Starting Monday, August 19th, any student can park on the Cobre High campus in the student parking lot. Parking will be at your own risk. We will not be responsible for break in, theft or damages while parking on school grounds.
Attention all Cobre High students that have not previously taken the drivers ed course! We will be having a mandatory parent and student meeting Thursday, August 15th at 5:30pm in the Performing Arts. We do have a limited number of seats, so please come to the meeting to sign up.
This year for homecoming, we will be hosting the Ruidoso Warriors. In recognition of the challenges faced by the recent fires and floods, we will be offering free admission for this homecoming game. We will also be hosting a special dinner for the Ruidoso Football Team and their community before the game. To do so, we are asking for donations to help out with this. Next Monday, August 19th, 2024, Cobre High School will be having an open house from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm. From 5:00 to 5:30 pm we will be in the Performing Arts Center to welcome parents and students, then from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm parents and students are welcome to visit classrooms and meet and greet with the teachers! We hope to see you there!
This Wednesday will be the Mandatory Fall Sports Parent and Athlete meeting for Cobre HS and Snell MS at 6:30pm in the Cobre High School Performing Arts Center.
The NM National Guard will be visiting Cobre High School from 8 am to 2 pm. They will be visiting with students and have some of their materials for students to see and maybe participate. We look forward to having them visit with all of our students and welcome everyone back to school for the 2024 -2025 school year!!

If you have not completed a sports physical for the 24-25 school year, Cassie Family Health Center will be opening their doors this Sunday at 9:00 am for appointments fro $20. Appointments will need to be scheduled today before 3:00pm for a Sunday appointment. See contact information below.

The Cobre High School Class of 2025 Senior Sunrise will be on July 31, 2024 at the Cobre High School football field at 5:45 am.
The Silco Theater - MainStreet is premiering their first annual Silver City Community Film Festival! Submissions are open until September 1st and are open to anyone in the Grant County, Deming, and Lordsburg areas!
There are three film categories: Micro-short (30 seconds to 3 minutes ), Short (between 3 and 45 minutes ), Feature (over 45 minutes ).

The Cobre High School Indian Pride Band will be having Band Camp Monday, July 22 through Thursday, July 25 from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm and 1:15 pm - 3:30 pm at Cobre High School.
