As part of Latino Conservation Week celebrations, a guided hike to Cherry Creek is being offered by many of the same organizations along with Latino Outdoors on Sunday, September 21 at 9:30 AM. Meet at the Convention Center at 9:30 am or at the Cherry Creek Campground at 10 am. Join hike leaders in looking for reptiles, amphibians, or any other animal or plant life and learn about trail construction and other conservation tactics from experienced conservation corps alumni!

The soft lockdown has now been lifted at Cobre High School. Students are safe and are resuming their normal schedules.
Cobre High School is currently in a soft lockdown due to an earlier incident involving a fight. Please be assured that all students are safe. Police are on the scene, and the situation is under control. We will provide updates as more information becomes available.
