With last night's win against Hot Springs, Cobre Baseball officially went 9-0 in district and are the 2024 3A District 3 Champs! Great job gentlemen! Our Lady Indian Softball team will be on the road Saturday continuing district play against Hot Springs, with the final game against Hot Springs being next Wednesday at home. Currently, they are 6-0 in district.

PARKING LOT UPDATE: The Be Pro Be Proud truck is parked at an angle that still allows for full use of all parking lots. There will be a normal traffic flow this morning and afternoon. Drop off and pick up will be in their normal areas today.

NEW BASEBALL SCHEDULE ADDITION: Cobre will be playing El Paso Leadership Academy at home on Thursday, May 2, 2024 at 6:00 pm. Hope to see you there!


Tomorrow the Cobre High baseball team will be hosting a little league appreciation day. Kids get in free and get a tree meal it they wear their jersey to the game. Must be accompanied by a parent. The games against Hot Springs will start at 9am &
11am.


WNMU WIll be at CHS in the library tomorrow Wed 24, 2024 from 8:30 to 11:30 to register students for Dual Enrollment classes for Summer 2024 and Fall 2024. Freshmen will be registering for Computer Literacy at this time. Students will need their Social Security num to register.


A HUGE shoutout to Mr. Nikolas Trujillo for officially signing with Southeastern University last Friday, surrounded by a few of his supporters! Niko, who previously won state this year for the fifth time in a row since 8th grade, will be wrestling at the collegiate level at SEU! Your Cobre Family is definitely proud of you and looking forward to following your career at SEU!

Cobre Golf competes in first tournament of season. Elias Guadiana took 1st place, Nico Zamora 2nd place, and Jacob Arias 3rd place in the individual category. Derek Ramirez and Matthew Pacheco had a strong showing in their first ever tournament. Congratulations!



This Wednesday the Cobre High School band will be hosting the Cobre Band Festival, with bands from Silver Consolidated Schools, Deming Public Schools, Hatch Valley Public Schools, and Cobre High School. This event is open to the public. We hope to see you there!

The CHS Cheerleaders are getting ready for state and have a State Cheer Showcase scheduled for next Monday! Everyone is invited to come check out their routine and support! We appreciate all the cheer team does to support Cobre and look forward to their showcase on Monday!


The Frontier Food Hub is needing surveys filled out in the mining district. This will assist in the Frontier with getting grants to assist the mining district with community gardens, classes, farmers markets etc. To fill out a survey online, scan the QR Code.
